 Alternatives

Casting: Is a more short term solution compared to shoes or glue on shoes. Shoes can also be nailed to casting for horses with thin or brittle walls.

Pads: Come in a leather, plastic or a pour in material. Good for frog support, heel elevation, sole support and sole protection.

Glu Shu: A rubber coated aluminum shoe that is glued on. Non invasive, light and hard wearing, for horses with poor or brittle feet. Or for those that are too sensitive or sore to nail shoes on. They also provide good traction.

Traditional: Different types of bar shoes in steel or aluminum as required for each individual horse.
